Privacy: H aving your personal information stolen - Identity thieves gather personal information by hacking social media sites. Technological: Spam - social media platforms have a hard time filtering spam; one study found that only 15% of all social spam has a link that can be detected as spam . Social: Cyber Stalking - threatening behaviour or unwanted advances directed at another user on social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter.
