Task 3: Social media considerations/ issues

Explain at least three issues (these could be technological, social, privacy etc) associated with the use of social media tools and applications.
  •  Privacy: Having your personal information stolen - Identity thieves gather personal information by hacking social media sites.
  • Technological: Spam -  social media platforms have a hard time filtering spam; one study found that only 15% of all social spam has a link that can be detected as spam.
  • Social: Cyber Stalking - threatening behaviour or unwanted advances directed at another user on social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter.

Changing the look of my blog

Task 8: Changing the look of my blog The colours on your blog can be changed. Click on the template tab on the left-hand side. Choose a template and then click on Customise. Here you can experiment with different backgrounds or themes. Make sure you click "Apply to blog". Write a new post and write a comment about your new colours. You may have already made these kinds of changes to your blog – you don’t need to change them again. Briefly describe what you have done. I changed the background picture, changed the font type to ' syncopate' and the font colours.
